I am very happy to know that our Catholic Community of St. Joseph the Worker Church, Sector VI, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, is celebrating the Golden Jubilee of its Parish this year and is planning to launch a parish website on this joyous and historic occasion. It is indeed a praiseworthy initiative and I congratulate all concerned especially the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr.Joseph Vaippemmadom, and his team.

In the past fifty years the Catholic Community of Sector VI, Bhilai has seen several changes and development in the life of Parish. I rejoice and thank God for you and for your faith inspired generous cooperation for the good of the Parish. I remember with gratitude the hard works of all especially the missionaries who have played a vital role in the development and growth of the Parish.

His Holiness Pope Francis calls us to use the modern technology of communication which “offers immense possibilities for encounter and solidarity. It is something truly good, a gift from God.” With the launch of a web-site the Parish community of Sector VI, Bhilai enters the digital world with a view to reach out to all its members in India and abroad. I am sure it will generate a new interest and help to connect all those who belong to this community or were once part of it or have some affinity to it or interest in it.

On the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of your parish I congratulate all of you and wish the Parish website all success. May it help you to feel closer to one another, creating a strong sense of unity in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour!

With love and Prayerful blessings,
